Cookies

Some of the pages on this website use what are called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and safer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are what are called "session cookies". These are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser upon your next visit.

You can configure your browser such that you are informed when cookies are set and to allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of his services. Where other cookies (e.g. cookies to analyze your surfing behavior) are stored, these are handled separately in this privacy policy.

Server-Log-Dateien

The provider of the website automatically collects and stores information in server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not combined with other data sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your information from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not disclose this data without your consent. The processing of the data entered in the contact form is thus exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time. To do so, you may simply send us a notification via e-mail to this effect. The legality of the data processing operations carried out up to the point of withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.

The data entered by you in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, withdraw your consent for storage, or the purpose for which the data was stored no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Processing of data (customer and contract data)

We collect, process and use personal data only to the extent that it is necessary for the establishment, structuring or modification of the legal relationship (master data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data on your use of our website (usage data) only to the extent necessary to enable or charge the user for the use of the service.

The customer data collected will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Legal retention periods remain unaffected.

5. Analysis tools and advertising

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses "cookies". These are text files which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

The storage of Google Analytics cookies is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the analysis of user behavior in order to optimize both his website and his advertising.

IP anonymization

We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. This means that your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before it is transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide further services to the website operator related to the use of the website and the internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google.

Browser Plugin

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser. However, please note that if you do so, you may not be able to utilize the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Opting out of data collection

You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent the collection of your information during future visits to this website: Disabling Google Analytics.

For more information on how Google Analytics handles user data, please see the Google privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

Contract data processing

We have signed a contract with Google for commissioned data processing and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Demographic characteristics in Google Analytics

This website uses the "demographic features" feature of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be generated that contain information about the age, gender and interests of the site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising by Google as well as from visitor data from third parties. This data cannot be linked to a specific person. You can disable this feature at any time from the ad settings in your Google Account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the "Opting out of data collection" section.

Google Analytics Remarketing

Our websites use the functions of Google Analytics Remarketing in conjunction with the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

This feature allows advertising audiences created with Google Analytics Remarketing to be linked to the cross-device capabilities of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. In this way, personalized advertising messages based on your interests that have been customized for you on one device (e.g., cell phone) can also be displayed on your other devices (e.g., tablet or PC) depending on your previous usage and surfing behavior.

If you have provided your consent, Google will link your web and app browsing history to your Google Account for this purpose. In this way, the same personalized advertising messages can be displayed on any device you sign in to with your Google Account.
To support this feature, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated user IDs that are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create audiences for cross-device advertising.

You can opt-out of cross-device remarketing/targeting permanently by deactivating personalized advertising in your Google Account. To do so, follow this link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.

The aggregation of the data collected in your Google Account is based solely on your consent, which you can provide to or withdraw from Google (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). For data collection processes that are not merged with your Google Account (e.g. because you do not have a Google Account or have objected to the merging), the collection of data is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The legitimate interest arises from the fact that the website operator has an interest in the anonymized analysis of website visitors for advertising purposes.
Further information and the data protection regulations can be found in the Google privacy policy at: www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/.

Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking

We use “conversion tracking” as part of Google AdWords. A cookie for conversion tracking is generated when you click on an ad placed by Google. Cookies consist of small text files that are placed on the user’s computer by the web browser. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used as a means of personally identifying users. If the user visits particular pages on this website and the cookie has not yet expired, then Google and ourselves will be able to recognise that the user has clicked on the ad and been redirected to this page.

Every Google AdWords customer will receive a different cookie. The cookies cannot be traced via the websites of AdWords customers. The information that is obtained by means of the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The customers will learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page containing a conversion tracking tag. They do not, however, receive any information that personally identifies users. Should you not wish to participate in the tracking, then you may object to its use by easily deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie in your web browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
“Conversion cookies” are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator is legitimately entitled to analyse user behaviour with a view to optimising both its website and its advertising.

More information about Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

You can configure your browser as such that you are informed when cookies are set and to allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. The functionality of this website may be restricted if cookies are deactivated.

Google reCAPTCHA

We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter referred to as “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).

The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to check whether the data input on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) is being performed by a human being or by an automated program. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For analysis purposes, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, time spent on the website or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.

The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not notified that an analysis is taking place.

The data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting his online offerings against abusive automated spying and from spam.
Further information about Google reCAPTCHA and the Google privacy policy can be found at the following links:
https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/android.html.

Facebook Pixel

Our website uses the visitor action pixel of Facebook, Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook") to measure conversion.

This allows us to track the behavior of site visitors after they have clicked on a Facebook ad to be redirected to the provider's website. This allows the effectiveness of the Facebook ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and to optimize future advertising measures.

The data collected is anonymous to us as the operator of this website, and we cannot draw any conclusions as to the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, such that a connection to the respective user profile is possible, and Facebook may use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Policy. This allows Facebook to enable the placement of advertisements on pages belonging to Facebook and outside of Facebook. This use of the data cannot be influenced by us as a site operator.

You can find further information on the protection of your privacy in the Facebook Data Policy: www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
You can also disable the remarketing feature "Custom Audiences" in the Ad Preferences section at www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/. You must be logged in to Facebook to do this.

If you do not have a Facebook account, you can disable usage-based advertising from Facebook on the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance website: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.
